Credit unions are member owned and controlled institutions based on 'People Helping People' principles. Our Board of Directors are non-paid volunteers elected by their fellow Members. Each Member has an equal vote, regardless of how much he or she has on deposit. With no outside stockholders, after reserves are set aside, earnings are returned to Members in the form of dividends, including higher savings rates, lower loan rates, fewer fees and lower cost services.
